Ray - aka "The Big Bloke"
- is owner and Managing Director of a Watford
based Computer company
- At 6' 6" (2 metres) tall and over 18 stone ( 270lbs / 120Kgs) he has a
problem with finding cars big enough, needing extra head and legroom.- so he
bought the immaculate 1950 Chrysler Imperial DeLuxe Sedan seen below:
30,000 miles from new, full history, 19 feet long, 5.3 litre straight 8
engine, two speed automatic box and electric windows all-round.
- Musical tastes are very much in the '50s with Eddie Cochran being Ray's all-time favourite artist and Jerry Lee a close second...
-Hobbies include Fishing, classic car restoration, playing the guitar ( badly ),
RC helicopter flying (very badly), travelling the World and running several websites
As well as being a founder member of the Old Crocs
Ray is also Webmaster, Ambassador and good friend of The Pirates of Johnny
Kidd fame . Yes, after 40 years Mick Green & Johnny Spence are still rocking
to packed houses all over Europe

Anita - Lady of Glencairn, Caithness
( hereditary title )
- is a housewife, Mother and self-confessed shopaholic
- has a collection of shoes which would put Imelda Marcos to shame
- has a star named after her - "The Magic Lady" -
in the constellation of Scorpio
- is building up a fine collection of Rock'n'Roll
clothes
- an avid collector of little old Dragons ( look in the mirror,
darling !)
- a big fan of Elvis Presley ( oh well, never mind )
Together
- Ray and Anita met in 1982 and moved in together in 1984
- after a whirlwind
engagement, lasting 18 years, they finally married in September 2000 when Ray
surprised Anita by arranging a holiday and Wedding in Malta - complete with a
chauffeur driven 1954 Rolls Royce .
Anita has three Sons: Bill married to Karen - living in Watford with
daughters Eloise and Melissa; Alan married to Helen - living in Dorset with
sons Joe and Jake and daughters Ellie and Aimee and David living in Luton-
Ray has one son, Richard married to Monica and living in the beautiful
countryside of County Galway, Southern
Ireland
Ray and Anita converted their 22 foot conservatory at home into a
1950s/60s Cafe/diner complete with a fully stacked 45rpm Jukebox, a 1961 Bellfruit
One Arm Bandit, a 1962 Williams Pinball Machine and loads of genuine
American and English 50s/60s fixtures, fittings, accessories and other
paraphernalia including a big sculpture of Marilyn Monroe sitting in a
dodgem car. They also took an intense course of 40s /50s jive dancing
at the famous Maddy's
Jiving School.
